Barça Lassa overwhelmed their opposition once again to register their 69th consecutive victory in the Asobal League, running out 38:16 winners away at Angel Ximenez. The blaugranes consolidate their position at the top of the table, maintaining their 100% record after eight games of the league season. Xavi Pascual's team started like they meant business, going 6:1 up in the opening 10 minutes.

At that point the home side's coach, former Barça man Fernando Barbeito, was forced into calling the first time out of the game. It made no difference as the blaugranes were soon 10:1 up on the scoreboard. Jallouz in particular was having a field day, helping himself to six goals early on. With 25 minutes gone, the difference stood at 10 with Barça 16:6 in front. Jicha and Dusbaev lead the attack for the visitors with Sarmiento missing and they contributed to a healthy 20:6 lead at half time. The script continued in the same vein in the second half. Barça did not let up and after 40 minutes they were 29:10 ahead. Players coming off the bench for the visitors gave no respite for Angel Ximenez, the blaugranes finding holes in the defence and punishing the home side with an 80% success rate shooting. Barça Lassa ended the evening with a comfortable 38:16 win and they next face Kolding in the Champions League.
